Met up with Buta, Ed, Iwan, Chih Yong, Jas, Bernice, Jia Wei & Sham on Sat morning to head for NYP's Open House.

Reached NYP and bumped into this lecturer who talked on and on and on.


Even Jia Wei got bored.


Know what they were making? Heart-shaped ice cream!!!!
We didn't get to eat that since they're for the teachers BUT we managed to get free Swensen's ice cream.

Buta: *nods frantically* 'Yes.. yes'

We managed to get each of us a ice cream but it's far too frozen, thus.. too hard. We had to melt it for a while before eating them.
Everyone blamed Iwan. LOL!!!!

All of us went to the Hotel and Resort Management mini-talk.
When the speaker said,"... So, sit back and relax..And enjoy the presentation."

So i did for a couple more hrs before i left. I showed attitude in front of her and the camera lah.
I used the hp right in front of the camera.
I was like,"Who cares? I today last day of work liao mah.."
At least i wouldn't need to stand for hrs, putting up with customers, memorise codes for the vegetables, etc.

Have postponed my piano lesson from today to fri morning due to my work. My first lesson for grade 8 theory has already given me headache. I look at the notes and there's simply nothing i can comprehend. I haven't been touching theory for ages and so.. when i start out of the blue, i'm like a handicap.
Wonder what i'm gonna tell my teacher when i see her this friday & tell her i haven't done anything to the homework she's given me, oh well, b'sides having written the date.
If i were to tell her,"Ms Tan, i haven't done any of your hw b'cos i don't know how to..", she'll go,"But when i asked u, u juz went 'orh'. "
Sometimes i wonder if i'm born stupid or what, y'know. It's only the 1st lesson.
So.. the conclusion's no other than: I am stupid.

TP's Open House on Saturday:

The first few hrs were... boring. The first speech was by a S'pore film director, also a TP alumni. His up-coming movie's 'Being Royston' or sth like that. I've seen the parts of it.. And i tell you.
IT'S REALLY GREAT.
I'm gonna catch it.

After his speech, there were a few more others.. everyone nearly fell asleep until a beatboxer came to perform.


Seriously.. This's the FIRST beatboxer that is sooooo... How should i put it, talented?
Really. I've never seen one like him before. FANTASTIC.

'WA! I so many 'D7's also can get 13pts?!' I thought.

I went home, happily.. Until i realised my results slip's with Buta.
Called Buta and asked him to double check if my L1R4's 13pts..
GUESS WHAT?!
He said,"Ya.. it's thirTY points.."
Me,"I've got a lot of 'D7's hor?"
Buta,"Ya lor.."

Somehow.. I got back my results slip and looked at my A.maths: D7.
I remembered that my AM tutor told my mom that if i don't get at least a B3 for AM, he's gonna return the amount of money we foot for the tuition fee.

I woke up.. feeling damn frightened.
Brushed my teeth and then, sat in front of the computer, thinking i could use it to distract me from that effing dream but NO!
I read FC's blog and she went,'Anyways, heard that Olvls will be out on 5/9 feb.' [LOL!]
I got frightened AGAIN.

Went to school at 10+am for CCA Open House. Saw my bestestestestestest friend, Suale, my usual clique & FAUSTINE!!!!

While i was searching for a job yesterday with the help of CATS, that ass called to inform me that the NTUC he's working in needs a morning shift cashier. Asked daddy to send me there after his guitar lesson last night to fill up the form. Asked the staff there and she told me that they don't need one.. I was shocked yet relieved because the sight of the NTUC uniform made me 'frightened'.
It looks damn... Aunty-ish. Just imgine me in that!!
WAYOH! YUCK man.
I don't wanna look so old when i'm only coming 17.

Told Buta and he asked me to put on really red lipstick to blend with that sampat clothing.

Watched Closet Affair 2 last night and i'm so amazed by how one of the female artistes could change a skirt into a blouse and then, into a bag!!! Also, she taught us many ways of wearing a blouse and even changing it into a skirt! WOW.
The Arena turned out to be more exciting than i thought.

Buta worked from 5-10pm last night and he's working now till 3pm.

I forgot to share something with you guys. Remember that night i felt an acute pain in my heart? While i was chatting with Buta on the phone, i heard 'beep, beep, beep' sound at his background and it sounded like a heart-beat machine used in hospitals...


Like the one in the picture, i'm not joking or fabricating things .
I was desperately praying and praying. I told Buta 'bout it and he went,"Huh?!"

Once again, i wanna thank Jesus for always being there for me & answering my prayers.

I thought i was going to die, i thought i wouldn't be able to wake up and find myself still moving.
Last night i felt an acute pain on my left chest, near my heart. I began to worry. I called Buta and am sorry that i woke him up but i couldn't stand the pain. When i sat up, with the pain, i cried automatically. I didn't even realise what made me cry but tears just rolled down.
Buta & i prayed. We begged Jesus to heal me. I didn't dare to breathe like before.. I should say that i was too careful when i breathed.
After praying, i didn't feel anymore pain. But i lied in my bed, still worried, waiting for the pain to come again.. Oh well, to make sure that i'm totally healed.
But soon, i dozed to sleep and found myself waking up to call Buta.
I thank you, Jesus.

Went for SP seminar at 2.30pm and got a bag of pamphlets, files, pen, drink, 2 mags, etc. Bumped into Anjel while signing up to take the 'Interest, Abilities' test, a test 4E1 of 2006 has sat before whereby you answer qns and they'll tell you what type of jobs you're interested and suitable for.

While i was writing my name to register, i saw "Ong Wee Xiang, YSS" & "Ong Chin Xiang, NVSS" and daddy thought Wee Wee & Buta were still in the campus but i told him that they've left early to collect their Scholarship Award!

My Aunt's leaving S'pore for Aust tonight since her family's already there.

It hurts me when i see him so frustrated & scared.
He's been thinking a lot since ytd, how he should tell the VPs, what'll happen and so on.

The new year has begun and it's time for me to look for a job while waiting for my results. Thinking of going to school, receiving my result slip, crying about it, oh no... oh no!
I didn't put in my best & spent time on unnecessary things even though i knew i'll be in dead shit.. So if i don't do well, i should know better.

Mom & dad have gone to work and Ryan's schooling at this moment. Coming to recall my secondary school days in NVSS, i realise that i've thoroughly enjoyed my 4 years there. It seems like yesterday when i stepped into the small school for orientation and ppl warning me that it's a school of gangsters, blah blah blah. I made friends and many of them asked me why i'd ended up in NV when i've been in Northland with high-standard Math, good Eng, good teachers, etc.
Yeah. Why?
I was shocked when i stepped into the hall and realised it's less than 1/2 the size of Northland's, from clean cubicles in Northland to dirty & stinky ones in NV.
I knew i was dead.
But i was relieved when i saw familiar faces like Rasmus, Rastus, Karen and Ben.
Fortunately, i ended up in a good class, with good friends whom i got along with well and good teachers who encouraged us.
I was in a lousy school but in the best class which may be the last class in every other school. However, i had excellent teachers who guided us along. Ms Soh's a good example, followed by Mr Chan.
Without their effort and encouragement, my class wouldn't have a strong class spirit.
We were noisy & childish but we know when to keep our mouths shut and when to get serious.

I missed the days when Sheryl & i would go ard making noise & disturbing ppl, singing off-tune, laughing extremely loud, sharing secrets, rushing down for recess, telling lame jokes, etc.
She has been my great friend for years. A cheerful & smart girl and who'll believe she's shy?!
